Production Diary

 31/03/2022 - Today I done my first interview with Sean Davis. This took place in the college media studio. I set up 2 cameras with Leon Hutchison in order to film 2 different angles so I could use an editing style where the interview would switch between the 2 angles throughout.

29/04/2022 - Today I done my second interview with Sean Davis as well as record footage for the documentary opening and the introduction to Sean's part of the documentary. We went to multiple locations and recorded various actions which could be used in a montage edit.

01/05/2022 - Today I went to the bar 'Unique' where I recorded a live band (Joe and the son Clark). After recording the band playing live I then recorded an interview with both lead singer, Joe, from the band as well as DJ Shem who was also DJing at the bar that night.

05/05/2022 - Today I recorded an interview with Bailey Clifford. This took place outside an old burned down pub the golden lion.

09/05/2022 - Today I recorded talking sections of the documentary (introductions, context, etc.) I set up a camera in my room at a medium close up shot.

12/05/2022 - Today I recorded an interview with Kyle Noble. This took place in the college media studio.

Interpreting the Brief and Client Research

  Client  Research   Client   The client for this project is ‘Sunderland Culture’.  They are holding a mixed media exhibition, which will be titled ‘Who Am I?’. This exhibition will be held at the National Glass Centre and  Sunderland Museum  and Winter gardens.     Sunderland Culture is a new organisation created to bring together Sunderland’s most important cultural assets and activities and realise the ambition of a city brimming with creative potential.  They operate many locations and  organisations  such as:  National Glass Centre & Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art, Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens, Sunderland Stages, Sunderland Cultural Partnership, Arts Centre Washington and The Fire Station.
